CAB History

About six years ago, I had an idea.

The following year, I had another......idea.

Suffice it to say I wasn't getting any younger so I bolted like

a bunny and got busy.

My idea was to build a great concert venue in the small town of Gig Harbor, Washington. World class.
Something along the lines of a Madison Square Gardens or perhaps a smaller venue like Carnegie Hall would be a nice "Plan B." Maybe even have the Stones play opening night.

After a few bids and a nasty note from the Stones manager,  I decided something smaller might fit my pocketbook.

Like a barn.

The nice thing about Gig Harbor, is that there are lots of barns here.

My friends even own one and thus Concerts @ the Barn was

conceived.

This is a once/month concert featuring local, regional and international talent usually held on the last (or next to the last) Sunday of each month. We begin with a potluck dinner so everyone can meet and mingle and then we listen to some music. For about an hour. Just enough to want a little more. Everyone's happy!

Thanks to Albert & Negar Knowles for letting us use their barn.

Yay!
